Jack (John J Mannay) has the big family Bible with family records and also has his grandfather Friedenburgs old Bible of 1856. Jack traced the Manney family back about 150 years beginning in France with Peter Mannes who died in Quebec at the age of 100; after his death most of the Manneys removed to Charlevoix, MI then went to Ironton by boat. The family then consisted of Jack's father John, his brothers Walter, Neil, and Wallace. Also two girls, Sylvia and Rebecca. Sylvia was Sylvia Lewis' mother. She died and was bur. in Charlevoix.
